That’s this week’s lesson in my art class – perspective. Easy to understand but oh, so much harder to put to paper. The eyes register a lot of stuff without even thinking. Had a really tough time with corners. Finally, I took a picture on my iPad and traced it. Aha! Light bulb went off. And here’s the result. Not quite there yet but not bad either. I think we may stick it out with this art thing.

The picture at the top of the the page is a shot of the front of the Glassell School from my 3rd floor class. That slope on the left is the roof. It has a garden and steps that you can actually climb. Haven’t done that yet. Way too hot. But come October . . . Prep for the next hike, perhaps?
