Colin Bisset, the guy in the white shirt, came to Shell as an SAP contractor about 5 years ago. Can’t believe it has been that long. He worked on the Blueprint project, which was E&P’s global SAP system. Prior to coming to the US, he did the same thing for the Shell E&P company in Oman (PDO). He originally moved to New Orleans and then after Katrina, moved to Houston.
Colin’s last day at Shell was Dec 17th. We took him out to lunch but also had cake for his last Thursday. Carrot cake, which was lovely. Originally from South Africa, he and his family are migrating to Australia. Took about a year to get all the paperwork. He had his wife have a young son, 7 yrs old I think and another son, who is grown up and resides in South Africa. He’ll eventually move to Australia, also. I can’t remember which city he is moving to – Melbourne? Anyway, sounds like a grand adventure.
